Trade-in and Installation of 65 kN Vibration Testing System

The latest trade-in accepted by Sentek Dynamics was from a satellite manufacturing company that was looking to upgrade their 65 kN Vibration testing system with a low-pressure slip table to a system with high-pressure slip table. As a part of the trade-in offered, the Sentek Dynamics’ Field Service Team decommissioned the customers’ existing M6544A-PA170-LST800M/AAC/AIM/BU-5/CIP/DMF/LSO vibration test system which included disconnecting the equipment, draining fluids to prevent spilling and leaks during transportation.
The M6544A-PA170-HST800M/AAC/AIM/BU-6/CIP/DMF/LSO vibration test system for larger payloads and demanding testing requirements was successfully installed as a part of the trade-in. The new system will be used for developing and qualifying the next generation of cube satellites. System features include:
High-pressure slip-table (HST800M) for horizontal testing requirements
Automatic static and dynamic armature centering (AAC)
Air-isolation mounts (AIM) to isolate vibration energy from the facility foundation
Custom insert pattern (CIP) as required by the customer
Degauss coil (DMF) for the reduction of stray magnetic flux
Long-stroke option (LSO) for up to 76 mm (3 in) displacement
Motorized gearbox (MGB) for assistance in shaker rotation
The M6544A-PA170-LST800M/AAC/AIM/BU-6/CIP/DMF/LSO vibration test system accepted as a trade-in has been added to Sentek Dynamics’ extensive list of inventory and is ready for a new home!
