Sentek Dynamics and Crystal Instruments have appointed Lauri Selänne as North European Sales Manager, serving customers throughout the Nordic and Baltic countries. As their regional contact, he will support customers with vibration testing equipment, electrodynamic shaker systems, data acquisition systems, and environmental testing solutions.
Lauri is your contact for Sentek Dynamics shaker systems and Crystal Instruments hardware and software, whether you need support for an existing system, user training, upgrades, or help with new testing requirements.
Based in Finland, Lauri will support manufacturers, engineering laboratories, and research institutions in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
His appointment reinforces both companies' commitment to providing advanced vibration testing technologies and responsive regional support to customers throughout Europe.

20 Years in Test and Measurement
Lauri brings a strong technical background to his new position, with professional experience spanning electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) engineering, laboratory operations, and vibration test system delivery.
Before joining Sentek Dynamics and Crystal Instruments in September 2026, he worked as Product Manager at Kvalitest Industrial Ltd. in Jyväskylä, Finland, from 2016 to 2026. He managed a broad portfolio of test and measurement suppliers. His responsibilities included sizing, installing and commissioning complete shaker systems, as well as training customers to use them. Throughout his time at Kvalitest, he worked extensively with Crystal Instruments’ Spider controllers and EDM software. This hands-on experience from the distributor and customer side provides a valuable foundation for understanding complex technical requirements and identifying practical equipment solutions.
Previously, Lauri served as Laboratory Manager at Nemko in Jyväskylä from 2012 to 2016 (the laboratory became part of SGS Fimko during this period), gaining firsthand experience with accredited laboratory operations and testing environments.
Earlier in his career, he specialized in EMC engineering, working as a Design Engineer at Aplicom Oy from 2008 to 2012 and as an EMC Engineer at the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences EMC Laboratory from 2006 to 2008.
His combined experience in engineering, laboratory management, and vibration system delivery provides a strong understanding of the challenges faced by organizations implementing advanced vibration testing equipment, data acquisition systems, and environmental testing solutions.
