Electromechanical actuators are used to control the movement and position of various control surfaces on aircraft. Aircraft flight control surfaces allow the adjustment and control of aircraft flight altitude. Electromechanical actuators are critical components that undergo rigorous safety and reliability testing.

Sentek Dynamics collaborates with aerospace component manufacturers by conducting vibration testing on their products to help characterize their hardware. The Sentek Dynamics test lab located in Kannapolis, North Carolina has a 32 kN (7,193 lbf) Model M3240A shaker used for testing a wide variety of aerospace components.

Crystal Instruments’ Spider-81 Controller was used to run the DO-160G Standard test procedure. DO-160 is a standard for environmental testing of avionics hardware.
